Jackie Bird and Koffie and Ken Worrall with Kane entered starters on saturday 28/4 at the Ready to Fly flyball show and gained first place winning every race

Lincoln

A couple of well done’s from Lincoln Agility Show…..

Sally Rhodes and Denzil did fantastically well, taking a total of 3x 1st places and a 2nd place, they managed to WIN OUT twice!!! with 2x 1st in Jumping giving them enough wins to move to GRADE 3, and then an agility win just to make sure.

Kevin Lomax and Barney didn’t disappoint either taking a 2nd in Agility and 1st in Jumping, now on their way to Grade 3.

Annette Scrimshaw and Jess took 4th in Grade 3 Jumping and 4th in Grade 3 Agility, plus 20th in the Alpha Agility Challenge, well done.

Hannah Grantham’s little Fluke was the agility star this weekend, taking 2x 2nd in Grade 5 Agility and 6th in the ProPlan Novice Agility Challenge.

Well done and keep those results coming!!!

Easter Celebrations…..

Newton Heath members were dispersed at three different agility shows this weekend, and here are the results so far!!

Dog Vegas

Sue Duncan and Billy took thier forth and final win in Grade 6 Agility taking them into…….. GRADE SEVERRRNNNNN!!!!!

Hare n Hounds

Sally Rhodes and Denzil took a 1st place in Combined 1-3 Jumping, on thier way to Grade 3 now!!!

Emma Armitage and Bella took a 1st in Jumping as well, another pair on their way to moving on up!!!

Annette Scrimshaw and Jess won a Grade 3 Agility and came 2nd in 1-3 Jumping….. this puts them into Grade 4!!!

Jane Potter and Mace gained a 2nd in 4-5 Combined Jumping and not to be out done by his big sister Chip won 2x Grade 5 Agility and a Jumping, putting this young dog in Grade 6!!!

Sue Birchinough and Kai came 2nd in a 1-3 Jumping, well done!

Hannah Grantham and Fluke took a 2nd in 4-5 Jumping….. she can weave!!!

Glynis Whittle and Penny took a 1st in Grade 4 Agility and 1st in 4-5 Jumping putting them firmly into Grade 5!!!

WELL DONE EVERYONE!!! Cakes on Thursday then!!!

THE FLYBALL STARTERS COURSE WILL COMMENCE ON WEDNESDAY 21st MARCH AT 8pm TILL 9pm
DOGS MUST BE MINIMUM 12MONTHS OLD BE ABLE TO RETRIEVE AND DO A RECALL.DOGS MUST BE OF A GOOD TEMPERAMENT AND WILL BE ASSESSED ON THE EVENING.IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED GIVE KEN A RING ON 0161 287 1710 . THE COST OF THE 8 WEEK COURSE WILL BE £40

Good luck to Harriet Pattinson and Maisie, in the YKC Dog of the Year agility competition.

Also good luck to Louise McGovern with Saffie and Raddlie, competing in lots of agility finals at crufts.

It was the North West Interclub Match today, and didn’t we do well…….

Well done to Sarah Stokes and Ffion on winning the Best Overall Dog Trophy

Newton Heath also came 2nd in the Beginners Category

But the best was yet to come……. Newton Heath DTC were the Overall WINNERS!!!

Huge well done to all our members who took part, contributing to this amazing result……. WELL DONE!!!! you should all be very proud yourselves and your dogs
