Rally Obedience 7th April
On my walk-about, some people have asked me about Rally Obedience and Competitive
Obedience; so if anyone would like to watch a Rally competition there is one this Sunday
7th April at Ladstone House Equestrian Centre Butterworth End Lane, Norland, Halifax
HX6 3SD.
The directions are:
Exit M62 at junction 22 – exit to A58/ Ripponden/Saddleworth
Turn left onto Elland Road/B6113
Turn left onto Scammonden Road
Continue onto Butterworth End Lane, past the caravan park on the right and the
equestrian centre is on the left.
The next local Pre-Beginners Obedience is York, Askham Bryon College, YO23 3FR on
Sunday 28th April. This show also has an ABC competition (anything but a collie).
The next show with a Kennel Club Good Citizen Special Pre-Beginners Stakes is
Southport, Birkdale High School, Liverpool Road, Southport PR8 3BA on the 18th May.
Again you could come along and watch as the closing dates for entry have gone.
There are more local shows later in the Summer (don’t forget our fun day in May) and my
plan is to keep updating this list.
If you and your dog are at the “working towards the KCGC Silver” stage, it is worth having a go. That’s when I first started (very, very nervous!) and I haven’t looked back since.
