Documentation for NHDTC’s Championship & Open Agility Show 2012 is now available.

Details of the event & links to all the documentation can be found on this page

IMPORTANT:

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of NHDTC will take place on Tuesday 21st February at 7.30pm at the club house as usual.

Just a quick note to let you all know that pet obedience training has its last class of this year on Wednesday 21st December.  Classes will resume on Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th January 2012.

Charlotte Edmondson sent this news to me, and it’s apt to put it here:

Charlotte Edmondson won an agility class on Saturday with Benji taking them out of grade 3 and into grade 4. On Sunday afternoon Andrew Edmondson won a combined 1 to 4 jumping class with Benji – this was Andrew’s first competition and he had only run Benji once before in training! Not bad for someone aged 9 and a half!

Well done Charlotte, Andrew and of course Benji!  It’d be nice to know where this all took place, but never mind ;-)

Congratulations to Karren Newton for qualifying for the semi-finals of the K.C.G.C.D.S Special Pre-beginner stakes at the Newton Heath show comp on Saturday.

Karren could potentially claim a place at Crufts 2012…no pressure! ;-)

She also achieved 6th place with her own dog Midnight Skye Rocket in pre-beginners section on Sunday and 5th place in the same class with Harryboy Starmix – a dog that she has never worked before but who performed brilliantly for her!

Well done Karren :-)

Just a quickie to let you know NHDTC is now on Facebook.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Newton-Heath-Dog-Training-Club/218635328164468

I’ve been fettling things so that news posts will appear on the Facebook page. Comments posted about posts will appear on the Facebook page, and comments made about the post on Facebook will also appear on the site.

So now there’s no excuse not to stay in touch with the club – become a ‘fan’ of the page & you should be able to send messages etc as with any other Facebook member. What the Facebook page is *not* for is posting news items or making general enquiries about club activities. Please continue to use the website to post news etc as usual. The Facebook page is intended to be a secondary outlet for information and discussion, not replace the website at this stage.

Regards,
Justin, site admin
