Newton Heath Dog Training Club is based in the North Manchester area near Oldham just off Junction 22 of the M60.   See the location page for further details.

Membership

Once you’re a member of the club the fee for attending each class is £1 per session per dog.  Annual membership fees range from £7 to £30 – see the joining page for further details & an application form. Your dog must have a current vaccination certificate to be eligible to join.

History
We were established in 1952 and are still going strong today. The club is Kennel Club registered and all of our trainers are volunteers who are dog/animal enthusiasts, this allows us to put every penny generated back into the club. The club is represented by a committee who ensure that all of the members views are taken into account.

Throughout the years with thanks to the many members past & present, the club has grown into an established and well recognised training facility in the North Manchester area.  Many of our past and present members have competed at the highest level in the country at both agility and obedience.

Training

The club has expertise in teaching agility, obedience and flyball.  Typically new members join one of our obedience classes before eventually progressing to agility, flyball or even competitive obedience.  What level you stop at is entirely up to you.
